Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
